In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, an official of the TRC was exposed for falsifying data about mobilized individuals
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have notified one of the leaders of a territorial recruitment center in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of suspicion, who entered false data into the automated accounting system to improve mobilization indicators fictitiously.
This is reported by the SBI press center.
As noted, the official, using his cryptographic key, made unauthorized changes to the data in the military registration cards: fictitiously enlisted them in the army, removed them from the register, and issued directions to three different military units. At the same time, he knew for certain that these individuals were not actually mobilized.
According to the SBI, law enforcement has already identified 17 individuals whom the suspect illegally "mobilized". All of them were at their place of residence, and the military units to which they were supposedly directed confirmed the absence of such mobilized individuals in their ranks.
The investigation believes that the actions of the official were intentional and aimed at artificially improving mobilization reporting.
He is charged with unauthorized modification of information in an automated system by an individual with access rights, committed repeatedly (Part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The article’s sanction provides for a punishment of up to 6 years of imprisonment.
The investigation is ongoing.
Similar cases in other TRCs are being checked.
