An SPFU official declared a Ford Focus at 5 times below the market value

The head of the regional branch of the State Property Fund in the Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and Sevastopol, Oleksandr Kucheryavyi, indicated in his declaration a car that his wife purchased in July 2023 — a 2014 Ford Focus. According to official data, the car cost the family only 49 thousand hryvnias.

For comparison, on the secondary market, the price of such a model starts at approximately 230 thousand UAH and can reach up to 560 thousand UAH depending on the condition and configuration.

The official explained the price difference by the fact that the car was sold by acquaintances from Kherson, which allowed for a "substantial discount."

Kucheryavyi also owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue, which was purchased for 430 thousand hryvnias.

According to the declaration, the total income of the Kucheryavyi family for 2023 was about 2.85 million UAH. The family also declared cash savings: 250 thousand UAH and 18 thousand dollars.

In the previous year (2022), the family declared an income of 2.24 million UAH, and cash savings amounted to 220 thousand UAH and 13 thousand dollars.
