The "sham divorce" scheme: Trukhanov’s ally Matvyeyev tries to remove property from under arrest

One of the main allies of Odesa Mayor Trukhanov - wanted deputy from "Trust the Deeds" Oleksandr Matvyeyev, who profited from municipal property through fictitious "disability" organizations, is trying to withdraw property from arrest through a "fictitious" divorce.

Matvyeyev is an old fraudster and manipulator. This is evidenced by the fact that he has divorced his wife twice. The first time, when problems arose, Matvyeyev divorced his wife Tetyana in 2017, and then remarried her in 2020. Before that, they had been living together since 1991.

In court, the plaintiff stated that during their life together, a discrepancy in characters emerged between them, a significant difference in views on family life, and a lack of mutual understanding. Marital relations and joint household management ceased, and the plaintiff has no intention of renewing them.

This is a complete lie, as they got married again afterwards. In April 2024, the woman filed for divorce in court. Since June 12, 2020, she has been in a registered marriage with the defendant. She notes that over recent years, relations with the defendant gradually deteriorated, leading to the cessation of marital relations in January 2024. Since then, the parties have not lived together and do not manage a joint household. She believes that further preservation of the marriage is impossible and contradicts her interests.

Despite the fact that the parties did not appear in court, the Prymorskyi District Court judge upheld the claim. Strange, isn’t it?

After that, Tetyana Matvyeyeva filed a claim in Ovidiopol District Court regarding the resolution of the ownership rights to the deputy’s property. Allegedly, this property was acquired BEFORE THE MARRIAGE.

This means that this property cannot be confiscated for the benefit of the state! Currently, Matvyeyeva  is trying to lift the arrest on the property in case No.12023160000000021.

Let’s not forget, Sasha Matvyeyev was Trukhanov’s assistant when he was a Verkhovna Rada deputy from the "Party of Regions". He is currently in Spain. He is suspected of illegal enrichment and false declaration.
