Zelenskyy: The number of victims in Kharkiv has exceeded 40
As of 19:57, the number of casualties from enemy airstrikes on Kharkiv exceeded 40 people (for the day. - IF-U), stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"At this moment in Kharkiv, more than 40 wounded people and one killed person are known due to the Russian air bombs strike. Another brutal murder. Air bombs on civilians in the city – even the children’s railway is not far away," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that such shelling of civilian objects, which have no military significance, is a daily terrorist practice by the Russians and called for a firm coercion of Russia to peace.
"This has no military sense whatsoever. Pure terrorism. And this has been going on for more than three years of full-scale war. This cannot be ignored. One cannot turn a blind eye to this. And this is not some kind of game. Every day we lose our people only because Russia feels impunity. There is a need for a decisive coercion of Russia to peace," Zelenskyy emphasized.
