Zelenskyy: The first group of Ukrainian prisoners of war under 25 years old has returned to Ukraine
Ukraine and the Russian Federation have carried out another stage of prisoner exchange.
Some Ukrainian servicemen younger than 25 years old, as well as wounded and severely wounded ones, have managed to return home from Russian captivity. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the exchange process will continue for several days.

The Ombudsman showed a video of the exchange and shared who was returned from Russian captivity.
According to the Ukrainian Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, these are Ukrainians under the age of 25, mainly born in the year 2000. They are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, and the Territorial Defence. Some returned defenders belong to the Ukrainian Marine Corps and Air Assault Forces. There are also those defenders who were captured in Mariupol.
"The majority of those returned had been in captivity since 2022, and there are those who were captured in the first days of the full-scale invasion," Lubinets noted.
