Russians enter Dnipropetrovsk region: Ukrainian Armed Forces confirm enemy advancement

A lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Alex" confirms that Russian troops are advancing into the Dnipropetrovsk region in the Novopavlivka direction.

According to him, the Russians are advancing in small groups of 4-5 people across the administrative border, but they are unable to hold positions due to the effective strikes of Ukrainian FPV drones.

Other Ukrainian military personnel and volunteers cite several reasons which, in their opinion, have allowed the Russian army to approach the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region:

  • Overwhelming numerical superiority in infantry.
  • Complete lack of minefields (both anti-personnel and anti-tank), which facilitates enemy advancement.
  • Lack of adequate shelters and proper fortifications, including wire barriers and "dragon’s teeth." Because of this, Russian motorcyclists and armored vehicles can penetrate deeply into the rear.
  • Absence of effective destruction of Russian UAV crews, allowing the enemy to conduct reconnaissance and adjust fire.
  • Shortage of FPV drones in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which limits counteraction capabilities.

People’s Deputy Mariya Bezuhla also commented on the situation: "The Russians are entering the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was a matter of time, no one has been building a wall on the border of the regions for these three years."

Let us recall, earlier Russia claimed to have entered the Dnipropetrovsk region in two areas, which the Ukrainian side denied. On the Deep State maps, the "gray zone" has come close to the administrative border of the region.
