The occupiers attacked Kharkiv with "Shaheds": 12 people were injured, civilian infrastructure was targeted

On the night of Thursday, June 12, Russian occupation forces once again attacked Kharkiv with "Shaheds". This time, the enemy’s targets were in the Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Slobidskyi districts of the city. At the moment, it is known about 12 injured people.

The Russians shelled residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure. This was reported by the city’s mayor Ihor Terekhov.

In the Saltivskyi district, an impact was recorded on the roof of a multi-story building – there were no casualties. A hit on a fitness club was also documented. Another impact in the Saltivskyi district occurred a few meters from another multi-story building.

"As a result of a UAV strike near a residential multi-story building, civilian cars caught fire. The facade of the multi-story building also suffered damage. A UAV strike was recorded on the technical floor of a 9-story residential building, which triggered a fire. An unexploded UAV was found on the roof of a warehouse building," clarified the Regional Military Administration.

In total, 12 people are already injured in this area, four of them are children, including a 12-year-old girl. A two-year-old child has a cut head injury.

Among the injured are a 76-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman – they have an acute reaction to stress. In addition to them, a 16-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl, a 57-year-old man, and a 42-year-old man who suffered a cut foot injury were injured.

The Regional Military Administration reported that in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV hit the ground on the territory of an educational institution. As a result of the shelling, grass and trash caught fire, and the glazing of a multi-story residential building was damaged.

A "Geran-2" type UAV impact on the ground was also recorded, resulting in damage to the glazing of 3 apartment buildings. The fall of the enemy drone’s debris caused a grass fire over an area of 100 square meters.

In the Slobidskyi district, shelling caused a fire in a store over an area of 200 square meters. The store building was damaged.

In total, preliminarily, the enemy delivered 12 strikes on Kharkiv that night. One of them was without detonation.
