Israel announced the destruction of Iran’s internal security headquarters

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz reported that Israeli forces have eliminated the headquarters of the "internal security of the Iranian regime".

According to him, the strikes are ongoing and are aimed at symbols of the ayatollahs’ authority throughout the country.

"As promised, we will continue to strike the regime’s structures and its symbols, wherever they are," said Katz.

Earlier, it became known that as a result of an attack on Rashid Yasamah Street, the headquarters of the Iranian public security police (FARAJA) was destroyed — presumably, this is what the minister was referring to. This structure is part of the Intelligence Coordination Council and is responsible for overseeing citizens’ behavior, particularly through the "morality police".

According to Israeli media reports, strikes were also carried out against the Basij militia headquarters and the underground shelter of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran. The attacks are ongoing.
