In the MFA of Ukraine, they responded to Russia’s claims regarding the destruction of Western weapons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the new Russian demand to Ukraine to destroy the weapons transferred by Western partners for defence against the advances and shelling of Russian forces to be absurd. The ministry emphasized that such statements by Russian officials indicate their complete inadequacy.

This was written by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian foreign ministry, Heorhiy Tykhyi, on his social media channel X on Wednesday, June 18. In this way, he commented on the remarks of the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko.

"Russian officials make new absurd demands almost daily. Complete inadequacy. Moscow shows utter disregard for the U.S. efforts to end the war," wrote the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
