During today’s exchange, severely ill and severely wounded Ukrainian servicemen were released from Russian captivity.

This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Andriy Yusov.

According to him, most of those released are enlisted and non-commissioned officers.

Yusov also noted that exchanges are ongoing within the framework of the Istanbul format, which covers three categories of prisoners: severely ill, severely wounded, and young warriors under the age of 25.
