"The number of students 25+ is off the charts": In Poltava region, TRC will start checking educational institutions

In the Poltava region, TRC staff will begin checking educational institutions for students avoiding military service.

Local journalist Oleh Bulashev reported that an inspection will be conducted at the Kremenchuk College of Transportation Infrastructure and Technology due to the large number of students over the age of 25.

The local authorities have already reached out to the TRC.

«It will be checked whether such education is an abuse of the right to deferment from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Poltava Regional State Administration also appealed to the TRC, demanding a response within the existing legislation and, if violations are found, to address them,» Bulashev writes.
