Drone and missile attack on Drohobych: part of the city left without power
On the night of June 29, an industrial facility in the territory of the Drohobych community in Lviv region was hit, with strikes delivered by missiles and drones.
This was reported by the press center of the Drohobych City Council.
As noted, all response services quickly arrived at the scene in the morning. A commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations is working at the Drohobych City Council. There are no casualties due to the attack.
Active inspections are being conducted in the community’s territory. Police officers are patrolling the streets to identify any possible additional damages.
"As of now, the respective services are measuring atmospheric air indicators and radiation levels. Preliminary results are expected within three hours.
A lack of electricity supply has been recorded in parts of Drohobych and in certain localities of the community. Restoration work is ongoing," the report states.
"We urge community residents to stay at home and, if possible, not to go outside unless absolutely necessary. Close windows, doors, and ventilation openings tightly. Turn off air conditioners, ventilation, and heaters with outside air intake. Protect your respiratory organs, prepare gauze masks moistened with water or a weak soda solution. You can use a wet towel or cloth. If you notice a deterioration in health, immediately seek medical attention... The situation is under control. All services are working in coordination," the city council adds.
