Synchronized restrictions with the EU: Ukraine imposed sanctions against Iran,— Zelenskyy

This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening video address on Sunday, June 29.

«Our institutions have begun implementing the NSDC’s decision to align European and Ukrainian sanctions. The 13th and 14th EU sanctions packages are fully aligned. Now, these will also be 100% Ukrainian sanctions. Today, I approved this,» Zelenskyy noted.

In addition, according to the president, Ukraine fully aligns with European sanctions against Iran.

«We will continue all this work on alignment. I expect quick progress from all our institutions in the country. Sanctions must now be one of the key priorities. World sanctions against Russia are what genuinely limit Russia’s strategic development capabilities, their potential,» Zelenskyy emphasized.
