Investigating judge of the HACC Vitaliy Kryklyvyi rejected the NABU detective’s motion to suspend the current Deputy Prime Minister - Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov for 2 months.

During the consideration of the motion, the defence presented a letter with the personal signature of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal regarding the negative consequences of Chernyshov’s suspension for the government. The investigating judge viewed this "evidence" as an attempt to exert pressure on him.

As of yesterday, Chernyshov had not yet posted the bail of 120 million UAH, although the defence insisted that the bail was sufficient to mitigate the risks.

We remind you that Chernyshov is suspected of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits in particularly large amounts for himself and third parties.

According to NABU, it concerns a bribe in the form of a discount on real estate totaling more than 14.5 million UAH.
