Head of the AMCU Pavlo Kyrylenko will be tried for illegal enrichment and inaccurate asset declaration
The case of the current head of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, has been referred to court.
He is accused of illicit enrichment and providing false information in declarations while holding the position of head of the regional state administration from 2020 to 2023.
The investigation found that during this period, Kyrylenko acquired 21 real estate objects and a BMW X3 vehicle, registering all in the name of his wife’s relatives. Among the acquired properties are 7 apartments in Kyiv and Uzhhorod, a private house near the capital (over 220 sq. m), two plots of land, three non-residential premises, two garages, and six parking spaces.
The difference between the declared income of the official and the actually acquired property amounts to over 72 million hryvnias.
In addition, over several years, Kyrylenko systematically entered false information in the annual declaration.
Now the fate of the head of the Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee will be decided by the court.
