Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna stated that no one has discussed with her the possibility of her appointment as an ambassador to the USA.

She announced this during an interview for "Fakty ICTV".

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the information about her possible appointment is being spread by only two sources, but she has not had discussions on this topic "with anyone in the government, in parliament, or anywhere else".

Additionally, both the Ministry of Justice and the European integration team have already planned their work until the end of the year, so "we have work to do".

"Thus, no such conversations (about the appointment as ambassador — editor’s note) have been held with me personally, and perhaps these are just rumors", emphasized Stefanishyna.
