The occupiers are assaulting the positions of the AFU near Kupyansk from three directions — commander of the "Achilles" regiment

The enemy is conducting attacks on the Defence Forces’ positions in the Kupyansk area. Assaults are occurring from the center, the north, and the south, utilizing infantry, drones, and small groups of infantrymen.

According to him, the defence of this direction consists of three main elements. The first is Kupyansk Left Bank, a bridgehead occupied by the Defence Forces. Currently, the situation there is fully controlled, although the enemy periodically attempts to assault it, particularly using armored vehicles.

"The last two attempts to destroy the enemy’s armored vehicles succeeded before they approached the line of combat engagement. As for the assault infantry, the situation is somewhat more complicated. It is difficult to hit the enemy from all the plantings, forested areas, and woods," noted Yuriy Fedorenko.

Another tense sector is near the settlement of Kruhliakivka, where the enemy is attempting to expand its "wedge." Finally, one of the most challenging sectors is the northwestern outskirts of the city of Kupyansk, near the villages of Holubivka and Kindrashivka.

"The enemy, following the classic military art, is trying to enter the city of Kupyansk through the outskirts. They intend to infiltrate between the battle formations on foot. They are actively accompanied by drones. The Defence Forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from disrupting logistics," stated the commander of the 429th Separate Drone Systems Regiment "Achilles."
