NABU and SAPO have completed the investigation regarding the non-declaration of assets by the head of the AMCU, Pavlo Kyrylenko
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office have completed the pre-trial investigation in the case regarding the non-declaration of assets by the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko, for the year 2024.
His wife is suspected of aiding in illegal enrichment.
The case involves 20 real estate properties in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Uzhhorod, as well as a BMW X3 car, which were registered to Kyrylenko’s wife’s relatives. At the prosecutor’s request, NABU detectives have already disclosed the case materials to the defence for review.
This is the second case involving the head of the AMCU: earlier, NABU and SAPO submitted to court proceedings regarding the non-declaration of similar assets in declarations for the years 2020–2023. The new episode mentions one less object—a Kyiv apartment, which Kyrylenko declared only after the release of a journalistic investigation.
The basis for opening the case were the facts stated in an investigation by the program "Schemes" (a Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty project), published in March 2024. In it, journalists reported that the Kyrylenko family acquired real estate and vehicles worth over 70 million UAH in 2020–2023 without confirmed income.
