The enemy launched a missile strike on Cherkasy

In Cherkasy, the number of casualties from the nighttime missile attack has increased to seven. Among the injured is a child.

This was reported by the city mayor Anatoliy Bondarenko.

According to him, by the morning, rescuers managed to extinguish the fires that erupted in the city due to the nighttime attack.

"Unfortunately, we have seven injured who sought medical assistance, including one child," he stated.

Bondarenko promised to provide more detailed information later and urged residents not to ignore air raid signals.

His statement came amid an air raid alert and a warning from the Ukrainian Air Forces about the threat of Russian ballistic missile use.
