SSU reports the detention of two Russian informants in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
An instructor pilot, a major of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, whose unit is involved in intercepting missiles and drones as well as striking ground targets, was passing data to Russia for strikes on Air Force objects. Specifically, on airfields where F-16, Mirage 2000, and Su-24 aircraft are based.
He even developed a strategy for strikes for Russia to bypass air defense systems. In addition, he provided personal data of Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots, tail numbers and armament of their aircraft, as well as tactics for conducting combat sorties.
The second detainee served in a combat unit in the Kharkiv region. The 26-year-old mobilized serviceman was looking for opportunities to cover his gambling debts. He agreed to adjust aviation and artillery strikes on his unit’s positions in the area of Velykyi Burluk. He would leave positions under false pretenses in advance.
