Russians claimed the "capture" of Chasiv Yar: OSTG "Khortytsia" commented

What the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation stated

"As a result of offensive actions by the Southern group of troops in the Kramatorsk-Druzhkivka direction, the city of Chasiv Yar of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated," claimed the Russian terrorist Ministry of Defence today, July 31, at around 08:00.

Refutation by "Khortytsia" OSTG

However, the Ukrainian military refutes this claim by the enemy.

"The situation in Chasiv Yar is the same as in recent months. The Russians are simply lying again, hoping it will spread at least in the form of refutations," the spokesperson of "Khortytsia" OSTG told RBC-Ukraine.

Moreover, according to the Ukrainian OSINT project DeepState as of July 30, the eastern and northern parts of the city are under the control of Russian troops.
