The occupiers attacked civilian infrastructure in Sumy: fires broke out
On the evening of August 6, Russian forces once again attacked Sumy. Hits on civilian infrastructure facilities have been documented, and fires broke out at the impact sites.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleh Hryhoriv, and the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
"Around 21:00, the enemy attacked the Sumy community - there are hits in the Kovpakivskyi district," Hryhoriv noted.
According to him, the attack resulted in fires in the dacha sector. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene.
Preliminarily, there are no casualties or injuries. The extent of the damage is being assessed. The type of weapon used by the enemy in the attack is being determined.
According to Kryvosheyenko, civilian infrastructure in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city was damaged.
