Yermak opposed the ban of Telegram in Ukraine, citing the military’s position

Yermak opposed blocking Telegram in Ukraine.

"We have a society, and we stand for freedom. For example, 80% of the military strongly oppose the ban on Telegram. These are the military personnel who enable us to be here, and their opinion needs to be considered, and it is important not to create division in society today. Personally, I am convinced that Mr. Durov and his Telegram have ties with Russia, but I respect the opinion of the people of Ukraine," said the head of the Presidential Office in a conversation with students.

Let us recall that previously various governmental representatives have repeatedly expressed support for banning Telegram in Ukraine. There are also rumors about its possible blocking in Russia.
