The enemy no longer uses the Crimean Bridge for military logistical purposes after the successful damage to the bridge’s structures underwater, states the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk.

"Two strikes were carried out, each with a hundred tons in TNT equivalent. Serious damage was inflicted on the respective supports, the so-called bulls," Malyuk said in an interview with the TV channel "We-Ukraine" during the marathon broadcast of "United News."

He emphasized: "Essentially, the bridge now operates in a mode where trucks carrying no more than 5 tons pass through, and the enemy does not transport any military logistics there. Therefore, I would say, it is an emergency structure."

As reported, on June 3, 2025, the SSU announced the conduct of another special operation to disable the Crimean Bridge, illegally built by Russian occupiers across the Kerch Strait. The underwater supports of the bridge were severely damaged at the seabed level due to the use of 1100 kg of explosives in TNT equivalent. Previously, the SSU had struck the Crimean Bridge twice - in 2022 and 2023.
