OSTG "Dnipro": Fighting in the Pokrovsk area continues

In the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region, intense fighting continues — Russian forces are trying to encircle the city from multiple directions.

This was reported by Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the operational-strategic group of troops "Dnipro," during a broadcast of the informational telethon.

"The fighting in the Pokrovsk area has not ceased. The enemy is attempting to bypass the city from two directions: from the north and southeast, as well as simultaneously from the south and southwest," — he stated.

According to Trehubov, Ukrainian defence forces are striving to repel the offensive and inflict as much damage on the enemy as possible.

"Despite the enemy’s numerical advantage in this region, it’s indeed not easy to achieve this," he added.
