A Ukrainian woman was detained in Bali for attempting to smuggle 2 kilograms of a new drug

A 21-year-old resident of Odesa has come under suspicion for attempting to smuggle 2 kg of 4-CMC to Bali — a new «designer drug» often disguised as «legal stimulants», «bath salts», or «plant fertilizers».

Authorities are already cooperating with Interpol to clarify the details of the case. Under Indonesian law, smuggling such substances carries a penalty of 12–20 years in prison or even the death penalty.
