"New Rules": In Ukraine, female medics and pharmacists must register for military service

Starting from August, new military registration rules for women with medical or pharmaceutical education have been introduced in Ukraine.

This was reported by «Suspilne», citing representatives of the Kirovohrad TRC.

Educational institutions are required to submit lists of their female graduates with medical or pharmaceutical education to the TRC within seven days after graduation. The data is automatically entered into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, after which women must personally report to the TRC for a medical examination within 60 days. Violation of registration rules may result in a fine ranging from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.

At the same time, the Kirovohrad TRC noted that there are no travel restrictions abroad for women who have registered.
