A resident of Zaporizhzhya died after mobilization: the family suspects beating at the military unit

A resident of Zaporizhzhya, who was mobilized on the street in July, died the next day at a military unit in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

His wife told local media about this.

Bruises were found on the man’s body - a bruise under the eye, hemorrhages on the face and ribs, as well as a head injury.

The woman did not receive news about her husband’s death for a whole week; she was told that he was fine. Later, a message came from the Territorial Center of Completion (TRC) indicating heart failure as the cause of death.

The wife does not believe this and thinks her husband was beaten to death. The family is conducting an independent examination.
