The RF dropped 41 GABs on Kramatorsk: two police officers from Ivano-Frankivsk were killed

"Yesterday, Russians used a total of 41 bombs with guided modules to strike the territory of the Kramatorsk community during the day and night. Efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing at the locations where infrastructure damage was found, and specialists from the relevant services are engaged in repairing damaged communications," the report states.

As a result of the shelling, the outskirts of the community were affected. Three civilians were injured, two of whom were hospitalized, and one person is receiving outpatient treatment.

Additionally, 46 private houses, 5 apartment buildings, 10 garages, two shops, and a service station were damaged. The bombs hit the roadway, damaging power lines, communications, and the Internet.

"On August 22, 2025, in the city of Kramatorsk, as a result of an enemy air strike, police officers of the Main Department of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were killed," the report said.

According to the police, the deceased were 38-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Solovyanchyk and 38-year-old Captain Ihor Martynyuk. Both served as senior inspectors in the special purpose police battalion.

The exact circumstances of the police officers’ deaths are unknown. Preliminary information suggests both died during one of the airstrikes on the city, as Russians shelled Kramatorsk more than 40 times on the evening of August 22.

"The police officers served in the special purpose battalion (rifle) for over a year. They were true officers, distinguished by remarkable strength of spirit and perseverance. They were dedicated to their duty, loyal to the oath, and true sons of their country," the report noted.
