The President signed eight decrees conferring the title of Hero of Ukraine

Head of State Volodymyr Zelenskyy conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine to eight warriors, several of them posthumously.

The relevant decrees No. 646-654/2025 were published on the presidential website on August 23.

As reported, the title of Hero of Ukraine with the presentation of the "Golden Star" order was awarded for personal courage and heroism displayed in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as selfless service to the Ukrainian people.

Thus, the title of Hero of Ukraine was awarded to:

• Lieutenant Colonel Vityaz Dmytro Mykhailovych;
• Junior Sergeant Bykov Vladyslav Dmytrovych (posthumously);
• Junior Lieutenant Yeletskyi Dmytro Yuriiovych;
• Senior Sergeant Zhuravel Ihor Mykhailovych (posthumously);
• Staff Sergeant Kedyk Ivan Vasyliovych (posthumously);
• Senior Soldier Korsun Mykhailo Volodymyrovych;
• Soldier Postovyi Mykola Oleksandrovych (posthumously);
• Senior Soldier Shcherbyna Yevhenii Valentynovych (posthumously).
