As a result of a Russian strike on a garage cooperative, a resident of Khmelnytskyi was killed

As a result of the massive shelling by the Russians on August 3 in Khmelnytskyi, a civilian man was killed. He was a 45-year-old man who was at the site of one of the strikes during the morning attack.

This was reported by the head of the Regional State Administration (RSA/RMA) Serhiy Tyurin. "Rescuers and all services made maximum efforts for his prompt search, including the use of a service search dog," the official reported, expressing his condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.

As Tyurin specified, the identity of the deceased has already been established, he was a local resident born in 1980.

It is known that the civilian was on the territory of a garage cooperative where there were destructions and a fire; in the morning he went to work, after which communication with him was lost. The head of the regional military administration had previously reported this, informing about the search for the missing person.

Details of the consequences of the enemy shelling

Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn reported that in Khmelnytskyi the damaged included:

– private garages and cars;

– more than 50 windows in an educational institution (so the institution will operate in a remote format);

– more than 100 windows in residential buildings;

– the territory of a communal enterprise and communal infrastructure.

In four settlements in the region, there are problems with electricity due to the fall of debris on power lines. About 400 subscribers were left without electricity. The energy workers promised to restore the power supply within three hours.

Tyurin reported that the air defence in the region shot down two missiles and three kamikaze drones, while one more drone was lost location-wise.
