NABU denies the involvement of its employee Husarov in working for Russia

NABU claims that its employee Viktor Husarov did not engage in activities benefiting Russia while serving at the Bureau.

"The evidence of criminal offenses by this employee published by the SSU pertains to events that occurred long before his arrival at NABU. Currently, no other information about his illegal actions during his work in the "D-2" unit of NABU has been provided," the agency stated.

Earlier, the SSU released information that Husarov was passing confidential information on various individuals to Ivantsov, a former guard of Yanukovych, who moved to Crimea after the annexation.

Husarov himself stated in court yesterday that he was not aware of Ivantsov’s work for Russian intelligence (as claimed by the SSU).

Furthermore, NABU demands to organize a meeting with the suspect to conduct an interrogation within the framework of an internal investigation.
