30% of Ukrainians have encountered bribery, most refused, — survey

Every third Ukrainian has personally encountered demands for bribes, — Info Sapiens study.

Over the past year, 30% of Ukrainian citizens have faced manifestations of corruption:

- 23% of them agreed to the proposed corrupt schemes;

-  68% refused, with 7% of them — reporting the corruption attempt.

According to the data, 87% of surveyed Ukrainians consider corruption a widespread phenomenon:

- 44% of respondents believe that its level has increased compared to the previous year;

- 42% — believe it has remained unchanged;

-  7% of Ukrainians are convinced that the level of corruption has decreased.
