Night UAV attack: Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 62 out of 66 enemy drones

Russian forces attacked Ukrainian territory with 66 drones of various types on the night of September 11. The majority of the drones were destroyed by air defence forces.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

"On the night of September 11, the enemy attacked with 66 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, ’Gerbera,’ and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, with over 50 of them being ’Shaheds,’" the Air Force noted.

It is reported that the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defence shot down or suppressed 62 enemy UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country. Additionally, hits by 4 strike drones were recorded at 3 locations.
