In the Boryspil district, a woman died under the wheels of an electric train

In the Boryspil district of Kyiv region, a train at the station hit a woman who was crossing the railway tracks. Unfortunately, she died at the scene from her injuries.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv region police. Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the tragic incident.

According to law enforcement officers, on Saturday, September 13, around 5:00 AM, they received information about an emergency incident at the station in the city of Yahotyn, Kyiv region.

"It was preliminarily established that a 55-year-old local resident, crossing the railway tracks near the platform, stumbled and fell in front of the Grebenka-Kyiv electric train. The train injured the woman, and unfortunately, she died at the scene," the press service reported.

Law enforcement officers conducted an inspection of the scene and documented the circumstances for further pre-trial investigation.
