In the Lyman direction, the Defence Forces continue to repel enemy attacks. The enemy is assaulting Ukrainian positions from various sides.

This was stated by Maksym Bilousov, head of the communications department of the 60th separate mechanized Ingulets Brigade, on the broadcast of «Suspilne. Novyny» reported.

According to him, in the area of their responsibility, constant infantry assaults are taking place, and the most important thing now is to hold back the enemy’s advance as much as possible. This is extremely difficult due to the large number of enemy drones and infantry. From time to time, Russian attackers mount motorcycles to quickly approach our positions. They attack from different directions.

«We are now like in the myth of Hercules and the Lernaean Hydra. When the Hydra’s heads constantly grow back. This is similar to Russian assaults by small groups appearing here and there. It requires high concentration from our scouts to constantly observe their movements from the sky and accordingly destroy them.
