The entry into Kupyansk is closed: residents are forced to evacuate on foot

Entry to Kupyansk is currently closed, including access for volunteers.

As reported by Kharkiv journalist Anna Chernenko on the air of "Hromadske Radio", residents who wish to evacuate have to either walk out on foot or seek help from the military and law enforcement officers who can somehow reach the city.

According to authorities, about 650 people still remain in Kupyansk.

Chernenko noted that there are no medical professionals in the city, so local residents cannot receive medical assistance.

Any movement is also dangerous, as Russian troops are placing mines on the roads.
