Director of the BES Tsyvinskyi appointed Yuriy Byelousov as his deputy

The Director of the Bureau of Economic Security, Tsyvinskyi, appointed Yuriy Bielousov as his deputy.

Byelousov was born in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He received his education at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He worked in law enforcement agencies, in the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, and in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

In 2023, Byelousov had ambitions to become the director of NABU.

He saw this position as an opportunity to apply his experience in combating corruption and organized crime.

However, there were issues with the declaration for 2016.

Byelousov admitted that the price was estimated rather than actual but insisted that it did not affect taxes.

Byelousov lent $40,000 to third parties, and his family (wife) purchased a new car and had significant cash savings in the form of an inheritance from a sold apartment in Kharkiv, in addition to the salary from a UN peacekeeping mission in Liberia, where he received an additional $128 per day, which was not known to the State Tax Service.

A separate issue is Yuriy’s brother, Andriy Byelousov, the mayor of Kamyanske, who is associated with the privatization of the municipal hotel "Zorya" at an undervalued price.

Yuriy Byelousov stated that since 2017, he and his brother have taken different professional paths.
Byelousov didn’t pass the competitive selection.

Declaration for 2024.

Byelousov earned over 1.6 million UAH in the Office of the Prosecutor General. He received a pension of 135,400 UAH and a fee of 74,500 UAH from the NGO "JustGroup".

Among the savings: $15,000 in cash and over 350,000 UAH in bank accounts.
