The SBI discovered unjustified assets worth almost 3 million hryvnias belonging to an Odesa law enforcement officer

The SBI, in cooperation with the NACP, determined that during 2021, a law enforcement officer acquired assets with signs of illegitimacy, registering them, among other things, in the names of close persons.

Among them:
• Lexus ES 250, 2016 year of manufacture, price under the contract — 750,000 UAH;
• Mercedes-Benz GLK 220 CDI, 2011 year of manufacture, price under the contract — 425,156 UAH;
• Mercedes-Benz GLE 350D, 2017 year of manufacture, price under the contract — 838,500 UAH (with a minimum market value of 1,676,900 UAH).

The materials regarding the detected signs of illegitimacy of the assets were sent by the SBI to the SAP, and the SAP prosecutor has already filed a lawsuit with the HACC for an amount exceeding 2.84 million UAH.
