The NSDC plans to launch a Technological Headquarters to strengthen defense capabilities

In the near future, a meeting of the Technological Headquarters will take place. Among other things, the discussion will focus on how to increase funding for the procurement of weapons for the military.

This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Rustem Umerov, on Telegram.

"One of the tools is to launch controlled arms exports, which will become one of the sources for filling the budget for defense procurement," Umerov explained.

According to him, only items that are in surplus and have available production capacities will be exported. The priority remains preserving the potential for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ensuring the security of supplies.

"We expect a detailed report from the government, the Ministry of Defence, military leadership, and intelligence agencies with a clear algorithm for launching controlled arms exports: when, in what volumes, and through which mechanisms," he noted.

Separately, the latest Russian attack on infrastructure will be discussed. The Ministry of Energy and the Air Force will report on the state of the energy system and the protection of facilities.

"We will also consider our responses to the enemy - long-range operations," Umerov added.
