Minus an enemy boat: border guards destroyed a vessel with Russian occupants in the southern direction
In the southern direction, Ukrainian border guards destroyed a boat with Russian occupiers using an FPV drone. The event took place on October 7, and the moment of the strike was captured on video, published by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to the data from the SBGS, an aerial reconnaissance unit detected a motorboat with an occupier crew moving along the riverbed. After adjusting the coordinates, the operators delivered a precise strike from the drone. As a result, the boat was destroyed, and information about the losses among the Russians is being clarified, the service noted.
The published footage shows the FPV drone approaching the target, followed by an accurate hit on the motorboat. The video also shows the aftermath of the strike – debris of the boat and the spray of water after the explosion. The border guards emphasized that such operations are conducted regularly to eliminate enemy personnel and equipment.
Recently, State Border Guard Service units have been actively using FPV drones on various sections of the front. Such attacks not only inflict losses on the enemy but also force them to change their movement routes and logistics. Ukrainian military personnel note that the work of drones is becoming increasingly precise thanks to the experience of the operators and new technical solutions.
