Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with dozens of drones: Air Defence shot down 54 targets
On the night of October 11th, Russia once again attacked Ukraine from the air: the enemy used 78 aerial attack tools. Air defence forces neutralized 34 targets.
Strikes were recorded at several locations. Details were reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians began launching drones at Ukraine around 8:00 PM on Friday, October 10th.
In total, the enemy attacked with 78 Shahed-type attack UAVs, "Herbera," and drones of other types from the directions of the Russian cities of Orel, Millerovo, Kursk, as well as from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Among the launched drones, there were over 40 "Shaheds."
The air raid was repelled by units of electronic warfare and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defence shot down/suppressed 54 enemy UAVs of types "Shahed," "Herbera," and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
21 strike UAV hit six locations.
"The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Do not ignore air raid signals. Follow safety rules!" the Air Forces urged around 9 in the morning.
