Shelling of Kirovohrad region: infrastructure damaged, Ukrzaliznytsia changes train traffic
Russian occupiers shelled the Kirovohrad region on the night of October 14. As a result of the enemy attack, the movement of several trains was altered.
This was reported by Telegram "Ukrzaliznytsia: Suburban Trains" and the channel of the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Andriy Raikovych.
"Due to the enemy shelling of the Kirovohrad region, there are changes in the movement of suburban trains for today," the statement reads.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that the following trains will operate on an altered route (without stopping at Tymkove station):
- №6035/6036 Pomichna - Dolynska (instead of Pomichna - Znamyanka);
- №6041 Dolynska - Pomichna;
- №6466/6455 Vysun - Pyatykhatky (instead of Tymkove - Pyatykhatky);
- №6487 Kryvyi Rih - Vysun (instead of Kryvyi Rih - Tymkove);
- №6488 Vysun – Kryvyi Rih (instead of Tymkove - Kryvyi Rih).
In addition, some trains in the Kirovohrad region will temporarily not operate today. Specifically:
- №6039 Dolynska - Tymkove;
- №6040 Tymkove - Dolynska.
Meanwhile, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Andriy Raikovych, reported that Russians continue to destroy critical infrastructure facilities in the Kirovohrad region.
"This time, in the territories of the Dolynska and Novoprazka communities. Preliminarily, there are no casualties. There is damage to buildings. Five settlements are without electricity. Fires at the facilities have been extinguished. All services are working," he informed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also confirmed the information from the Regional State Administration, shared photos, and specified that all fire outbreaks have currently been extinguished.
