In Warsaw, a group of teenagers attacked Ukrainians with a hammer

A new incident involving an attack on Ukrainian citizens occurred in the Warsaw district of Bialoleka. This time, a group of teenagers was behind the crime — a total of about 12 individuals.

According to the police, two of them were wearing balaclavas. One of the attackers approached a Ukrainian woman and held a hammer to her head, demanding that her companions hand over their phones and wallets. The threat seemed so serious that one of the men actually gave them his smartphone. The teenagers then disappeared.

The police responded promptly and began to search the area. Soon, officers spotted a group of young people, one of whom was still wearing a balaclava and holding a hammer. He was immediately apprehended.

Within a few hours, a second participant in the attack was found — a 14-year-old teenager hiding under a bed in his girlfriend’s apartment. He had been considered missing: two weeks earlier, he had run away from home. His accomplice turned out to be 15 years old.

Both detainees are Warsaw residents. They were placed in a police juvenile detention room, and their case will be handled by the family and juvenile court. They have already been assigned a guardian. The other group members who witnessed the events have not yet been held accountable.

Similar incidents in Bialoleka are not occurring for the first time. In September, hooligans already attacked Ukrainians near a Zabka store, accompanying the beatings with insults and phrases like «to the front».
