Russian attack on Sumy: apartment buildings damaged, one wounded
This morning, Russian troops struck the city of Sumy using guided aerial bombs.
As a result of the attack, several apartment buildings were damaged, and a 56-year-old man was injured. The information about the incident was released by the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, stating that all the relevant services are working at the scene, and medics are providing assistance to the injured. About 30 windows were damaged in nearby buildings.
This attack once again confirms the regularity of hostile shelling of Sumy, which often involves various types of weapons, including drones, missiles, and aerial bombs.
In recent weeks, the city has repeatedly come under attack, notably on the night of September 28, when seven trucks caught fire due to drone strikes.
The targeted attacks on Sumy, as well as other civilian objects, indicate an escalation of violence in the region and pose a serious threat to the population. Authorities and relevant services continue to monitor the situation and take measures to ensure the safety of local residents.
