Russia shelled Kharkiv and the region: one person killed, 14 injured
Over the past day, Russian forces launched another series of strikes on Kharkiv and five settlements in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, and 14 others sustained injuries of varying severity.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
In the village of Baranivka, Zolochiv community, a 35-year-old man was killed, and three residents aged 31, 33, and 49 were injured.
In the village of Spodobivka, Shevchenkove community, two young men aged 19 and 25 were injured.
In the town of Kivsharivka, Kupyansk community, an 83-year-old man was wounded, and in the village of Shevchenkove, an 82-year-old woman was injured.
Additionally, in the city of Lozova, six people were injured, including a 39-year-old man and women aged between 47 and 80. In the town of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, a 44-year-old man sustained injuries.
According to the regional administration, the enemy used various types of weaponry:
- 10 guided aerial bombs (GAB);
- 3 FPV drones;
- 1 drone of an unidentified type.
Dozens of civilian infrastructure objects were damaged. In Kharkiv, the blast wave shattered windows in a dormitory.
In the Kupyansk district, more than 20 private houses were damaged in the settlements of Spodobivka, Andriivka, Osynove, and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. In the Lozova district, 12 private houses were destroyed, and in the Bohodukhiv district, a vehicle was damaged.
The transit evacuation point in the city of Lozova received 181 people over the past day, with 83 evacuees currently staying there. Since the point began operating, assistance has been provided to 8,263 individuals.
