Russian invaders boasted a video from the destroyed Avdiivka

Russian occupiers filmed a mocking video from the destroyed Ukrainian Avdiivka. They laughed and talked about how the city had become “prettier” after the Russian occupation.

The dead city, largely reduced to a pile of rubble, is praised by war criminals for its “silence” and “absence of city bustle,” diluted by the “smell of fumes and corpses.” The cynical video was published by journalist Yuriy Butusov.

“Russian servicemen walk around the ruins of the ‘ruined’ Avdiivka and are proud that now everything here is exactly like their home,” he wrote.

The published footage shows several occupiers walking among dilapidated houses, gaping empty windows, and the remains of trees cut off by shells.

"Atmosphere: silence, no city bustle. No cars. There is no air from these... exhausts. The smell of burning, smoke, corpses... "Reports" from Avdiivka continue... the occupiers mock the mutilated city with laughter.

It’s interesting that the occupier who filmed the video showed the face of his “comrades” and tried to blur out his own. But for a moment his face also “lit up.”
