Avdiivka remains one of the hottest directions of the front. In just one day, Russian troops attacked 36 tanks and 12 infantry fighting vehicles of the 6th tank regiment of the 90th tank division and lost a significant part of the equipment.

In particular, the Defence Forces disabled 12 enemy tanks and 8 infantry fighting vehicles. Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Ivan Mateiko reported this on Facebook with reference to OSINT analysts.

“The fact that it’s hot in the Avdiivka direction is not the right word. The largest assault came into the field of view of the osinters. For the entire time of a full-scale attack, so that an entire reinforced tank battalion was moving at the same time - it’s hard to remember. Perhaps it never happened,” the defender noted .

He noted that the occupiers continue to put pressure, throw “meat” at the front, exhaust them and take up positions. They attack mainly at night or in fog. To contain the enemy invasion, the Defence Forces created tens of kilometers of various barriers, the purpose of which is to delay enemy equipment. They destroy it with the help of anti-tank missile systems with night sights and FPV drones with night cameras.
