Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at two checkpoints, allowing several trucks to pass through per hour or restricting traffic altogether. On 2 April, they plan to resume the blockade at the Uhryniv-Dolhobyczów crossing point, where they temporarily suspended their actions on Thursday for the Easter holidays.

For now, traffic here is free in both directions. Speaker of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko stated this in a commentary to Ukrinform .

"As of today, the blockade is being carried out in the direction of the Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska checkpoints. Polish protesters do not allow trucks to cross into Poland at all through Yahodyn and Rava-Ruska. In these directions, zero indicators of border crossing by trucks leaving Ukraine have been recorded in the recent period," Demchenko said.

He clarified that an extremely small number of trucks are allowed to leave Poland through Yahodyn per day, 70 of them were allowed to leave the previous day. As of this morning, a total of 500 trucks are queuing at the two blocked crossings in Poland, 250 in front of each of them. Cars and buses cross the border freely everywhere, and there are no restrictions on traffic for this category of vehicles on the other side of the border.

The spokesperson reminded that earlier Polish farmers stopped blocking truck traffic at the Krakivets, Shehyni and Ustyluh checkpoints, and there is now heavy traffic both leaving and entering Ukraine. Queues in Poland still remain at Krakivets - 950 trucks, Shehyni - 600. However, with the current traffic volume, drivers do not have to stand in queues for weeks.
