The Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the tactics of the invaders in the Bakhmut direction
Russian troops continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian forces in the Bakhmut direction. In particular, the enemy throws mobilized troops into assaults, while the occupiers save more equipment than infantry.
This was reported by the press service officer of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after. Roman Dashkevych Oleh Kalashnikov on the air of the telethon.
Russian tactics in the Bakhmut area
“A fairly significant number of Russian units are staffed by mobilized ones, who may no longer even undergo training in the centers, but simply rush into the combat zone, rush into assaults, and they are the ones in the first assault ranks,” he said.
Further, according to him, if they still manage to gain a foothold, then more experienced warriors with combat experience join in.
“And they are already beginning to dig in and create a firing line. Their propaganda works, they are brainwashed. And they really believe that it is better to die than to be captured,” states the speaker.
He added that the enemy continues not to spare his people and uses personnel as much as possible during assaults, “of course using the mechanized component, but saves it more.”
Use of CABs and artillery
In general, as Kalashnikov notes, the enemy is trying to use CABs more often and more actively, because the invaders are not as good with artillery shots as they would like.
“Yes, the enemy fires from 10 to 12 thousand shots along the front line, but this is not the number that is needed for active assault operations,” he notes.
In general, as the speaker says, the enemy continues to storm and fire at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - this applies to both defense lines and civilians.
